The goal of this program is to meet the needs of parents by providing essential knowledge, skills and resources to maximize effectiveness as parents.

Learn information about adolescent development and successful techniques for meeting the challenge of communicating, understanding fears, setting limits, developing responsibility and trust.
Emphasizes improving relationships in the family, on the job and with other significant people. Learn anger management skills, and the causes, effects, prevention and alternatives to domestic violence and substance abuse.
Parents and children work side by side doing homework and using the computer to improve their reading, writing and math skills. Group discussion and activities are included to help improve family relationships and build good self-esteem.
Parents learn about child development, acquire parenting skills and participate in educational activities that prepare children for kindergarten. The program strongly promotes family literacy.
